Hip: Fullest part of hips/seat, ~8" below waist.
Inseam: Crotch seam straight down to hem, inside leg.
Rise: Crotch seam straight up to waistband, following the curve.
Thigh: Fullest part of upper leg, 1" below crotch, flat width doubled.
Leg Opening/Cuff: Flat width across bottom opening, doubled for circumference.
Trousers: Slim / Straight / Relaxed / Tapered / Cargo / Wide-leg.
Sweatpants: Jogger (tapered, ribbed cuff) / Straight (open hem) / Relaxed (fuller through leg).
Oversized (dropped rise, wide leg — currently trending, usually 340+ GSM).
Length variants: Offer Short/Regular/Long inseam for trousers specifically.
Shrinkage: Trousers (twill/denim) shrink 2–4%; sweatpants (fleece/terry) shrink more, 5–8%.
